I have a friend with millions of followers on social media. She gets all kinds of disgusting private messages all the time. The worst trolls aren’t publicly commenting (or at least aren’t solely publicly commenting), they message you directly as long as you leave an avenue open.
- louispereira 4y agoIn its current form, in addition to the lack of public comments, you can also turn off the Replies (DMs) on each post, which will stop trolls from reaching you. I'm hoping this will be sufficient, although it will end up blocking out good conversations/replies as well. I'm not sure how to handle it better.
