For desktop applications, Qt has been offering for ages support for state machines driving GUI states, including using SCXML to generate it's state machine code.

- IshKebab 4y agoYeah this is one of the only vaguely decent state machine tools I found - the other one is Yakindu Statechart Tools which is an Eclipse plugin (but don't let that dissuade you - it is good despite forcing you to use Eclipse). Ultimately though I found that like most graphical programming it wasn't especially worth the effort.
