If this is true, documented, not false flag, ... PNG those involved or close the damn consulate. While they can argue that the "land" within the consulate is foreign, its surrounding is not and thus subject to the laws of the host nation. I assume people in the consulate have diplomatic immunity and so there are no small-scale ways of dealing with this kind of thing.
Countries have lots of security types so sending just them home has no purpose, hence "close the damn consulate". They can operate through their embassy, which I assume is in London, where security both ways can be maintained.
- LatteLazy 4y agoTo prevent any further "misunderstandings" anyone entering or leaving the embassy or consulate(s) will need to be stopped by police, have the possibility of violence explained to them and be asked to confirm they're not being held against their will. This will obviously be very embarrassing for the PRC, but it's unfortunate matter of public safety.
- tjpnz 4y agoWhy take them into an embassy when they can send out their own police force to do some extra judicial skull smashing? https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2022/09/14/china-opens-unofficial-police-stations-britain-hunt-people-return/ https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2022/09/14/china-open...
