Can't read the paper, but the abstract seems to claim profits don't increase:
> But consistent with our first set of results, these business managers show no greater ability to increase sales or profits in response to exporting opportunities.
- marcosdumay 4y agoProfits do not increase in response to exporting opportunities. Business people don't bring any market opportunity on average. Instead, they do increase solely as a consequence of salary cuts. (It's also not clear where the other half of the salary cuts ends up.)
