Elon Musk’s Texts Shatter the Myth of the Tech Genius
- Nomentatus 4y agoOy. So the guy has yappy friends. So what. Having people to kick half-baked ideas around with is how you get to good ideas; that's not all bad. Just part of the perspiration part of genius that Edison credited as 99% of genius. The fawning is interesting, but not undeserved, he has things a bit more significant than the Kardashian's cosmetics companies have.

- Nomentatus 4y agoHe slapped back Jason C firmly enough, I was amused to see (though I listen to Jason's podcasts and am coming to like him); as for stuff going to one's head, it's really hard not to be influenced; still he's been through a lot, so maybe.
- uejfiweun 4y agoYes, because we should always judge a person by the content of their texts. Or as the famous saying goes, "always judge a book by it's cover." Or am I misremembering things? This is nothing more than a piece of blue meat for the base.
