- disgruntledphd2 15y agoAnd yet we haven't had another thalidomide scandal since the FDA introduced mandatory clinical trials for new treatments. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thalidomide http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thalidomide I'm not saying you're entirely wrong, just that its not a simple as you make out.
