We all know why Google is doing this to bring online their rules for allowing their ads to be served independent of these ad blockers. We're not stupid, Google. But you gotta wonder if the monicker "Embrace. Extend. Extinguish." is better suited to GOOG than MSFT nowadays.
- vlod 4y agoPersonally I've moved to Firefox, but won't others just adopt another chromium browser variant? (there's so many out there). I guess 'regular' people will still use chrome, however do 'regular' people use ad-blockers? /shrug
- krageon 4y agoAll large US companies are guilty of this behaviour, almost to the point that you can be certain any project with a large US corporate sponsor is going to have problems.
