Obviously not. People treat each other horribly in the least economically free countries. I think the pattern generally holds as you move along the spectrum, too.
- pchristensen 18y agoCorrelation does not imply causation. The social and government restrictions that allow capitalism to function (enforcement of contracts, property rights, police/military protection, etc) also prevent lots of bad moral behavior.
