This technology isn’t bound by the availability of actors, real life societal issues etc, so I understand the disappointment when it follows exactly all the same lines as the current industry. It will follow the same lines as current industry because is the almost literal (if very complex and sophisticated) average of current industry input. An unfortunate quality of AI simulation output is it "freezes" the structure of it's training set, maintaining societal preferences exactly as-is.
