CEO posts crying selfie on LinkedIn after laying off employees
- edmcnulty101 4y agoThis is incredibly vulnerable and heroic of the CEO. What a compassionate person. He feels this firings deeply and he wants to share with us that it wasn't easy. Some people say it's almost as hard firing someone as being fired.
- cratermoon 4y ago> Some people say it's almost as hard firing someone as being fired. Yeah but then they retire to their yacht to have their concierge bring them a double of Pappy Van Winkle and a Cuban cigar while they catch up on the polo match results.
- edmcnulty101 4y agoI know but sadness makes a 200$ dollar glass of scotch taste like a 5$ well drink. The person who was fired is drinking better tasting drinks than the CEO.
- cratermoon 4y agoExcept the person who was fired is also sad. So if they splurge on a $5 well drink it'll taste like a 12-cent glass of sterno.
- celim307 4y agoLmao @ the guy saying he applauds ceos bringing their whole and authentic selves to work. I cannot imagine he would say the same thing for employees, who are told to stfu and do their job
- givemeethekeys 4y agoDoes he suffer from a substantial loss of compensation as a result of his firm's failure?
- Raziarazzi 4y agothe person declaring that he supports CEOs being their complete, honest selves at work. I doubt he would say the same thing to employees, who are instructed to shut up and get to work.
- nickmyersdt 4y agoIsn't there a GIF/Meme of Woody Harrelson dabbing tears with wads of cash? I've not read the article, however the subject makes me think of that.
