- uoaei 4y agoReddit is a simulacrum of real life, as are Twitter and HN. Best not to use them as bellwethers for public sentiment generally.
- vehemenz 4y agoThis is demographics in action. Reddit leans heavily under-30 and educated. More importantly, why is a more left-leaning Reddit front page your exemplar? The social, moral, and intellectual decline of the post-Trump Republican Party seems far more noteworthy.
- im3w1l 4y agoIt's hardly a natural process. It takes a lot of moderation labor to keep reddit as left-wing as it is.
- wiredearp 4y agoThat's just how just centrism looks on a global scale. People out here find it hard to imagine how Democrats could possibly move further to the right. If the Overton window leads to America, perhaps you should stop chasing it.
- immigrantheart 4y agoSeems worrying to me if our under 30 and educated population is anti working. I'm just giving one example, doesn't necessarily mean that I am a Trump supporter and covering up for Trump.
