Not true for me, I've used it successfully for server side work. Being able to use the same language is nice since I can pull in the same routines/data structures and not re-implement them.
- t00 4y agoVoluntarily can be relative: being pushed to use Swift as a recommended language for new iOS development can influence decisions to use it "voluntarily" for backend.
