- disgruntledphd2 4y agoIndeed. When we were having our first child, we brought this up and the consultant shrugged and told us to go to England.
- dragonwriter 4y agoEven noninvasive prenatal screening (maternal blood tests; possible because genetic information crosses into the mother's system), which is less conclusive than amnio but safer and can be done earlier, usually can't be done before about week 10.
