So is Square’s growth. When the entire sector you’re in takes a 50%+ dive you have to be pretty naive to think your own valuation shouldn’t do the same.

I'm sure a professional trader could think of several other factors which would cause shares of companies in the same market/sector/industry would move together. Lockstep, no, but highly correlated, yes.
