Scam apps still active on App Store – steal over $100M annually
- ncr100 4y agoAnyone who works for Apple, reading this, should pass this to the App Store team to review. E.g. (from https://github.com/avast/ioc/blob/master/Fleeceware/Fleeceware%20Subscription%20Apps%20on%20AppStore%20as%20of%2023-03-2021.csv https://github.com/avast/ioc/blob/master/Fleeceware/Fleecewa...) - https://apps.apple.com/us/app/bass-booster-volume-power-amp/id927920917 https://apps.apple.com/us/app/bass-booster-volume-power-amp/... - Store text erroneously claims "$40.99" for yearly charge ... to "boost bass" ... yeah right. - Actual IAP for yearly is two IAP: one $59.99, the other $75.99 Clearly intending to defraud customers.
