One plug to rule them all. Now that most applicances have power supplies that can automatically adapt to different voltages and 50/60Hz, isn't it about time we standardised on an world plug and socket that everyone can adopt over time and use alongside national standards?

I kind of wonder what the feasibility of using USB C would be - other than the cost. It would be one that could live along side the standard country plugs
