- avian 4y agoI think the joke here is that starting vim with an empty buffer used to display a message about donating to some charity organization.
- thot_experiment 4y agoAbsolutely 100% this, it's fucking heinous. I have no idea how to effectively fight it, but it's so rough watching the tech industry abuse people more and more every year.
- solarkraft 4y agoUse and strengthen the free and user-respecting software ecosystem. Replace the stock OS on your phone with LineageOS (or similar). Don't use apps requiring Play Services. Get stuff from F-Droid.
