I think that for some people, a lifetime of watching morally bankrupt corporations post record profits while your wages remains stagnant (made even more painful by inflation) can make it easy to fall in to the "If they can do it why can't I" trap.
- feet 4y agoCorporations have been looting america for decades but everyone gets their panties in a bunch when one of their victims loots one of the corporate stores so they can survive
- seanmcdirmid 4y agoCorporations don't care that much: they can just pass the costs on to us, so we are the ones who are ultimately being looted.
- Nasrudith 4y agoAh the syllogism of thieves perverse projection: I want it. You have it. Therefore stealing it "back" is justified.
