It doesn't particularly hurt either. The Fed is supposed to act independently and is solely responsible for its actions. Trying to stir up political controversy is pure FUD.
- kadoban 4y agoIt's _supposed_ to be independent. That's not the same thing as actually being independent.
- nightski 4y agoBut if it is not, then it's still their responsibility. Plus the Biden administration has kept the same chairman and really it's a board, not just one person.
