- nonethewiser 4y agoNo, because safari will not be chrome. Whereas Chrome is currently safari.
- usrn 4y agoGiving third party developers push notifications would be a win because at least we could start building open chat applications again. Apple is pretty much single-handedly responsible for destroying internet chat apps.
- runlevel1 4y agoSafari definitely needs work, and there are quite a few areas it's holding back wider adoption of features. My previous comment was scoped only to Apple's prohibiting other browser engines in the App Store being the only thing holding back a Chrome monopoly.
