I really think that "TV News" aka the current format (either on TV or streaming or anywhere) is going to drastically decline as Gen X and the Boomer generation age out.
Do we really want or need a "personality" to deliver us information? Reading just seems so much easier and more efficient
- robonerd 4y agoThey're being replaced with twitch streamers who opine on news articles in-between thanking simps for donations. Reading news written by other people, being a personality for lonely people who want parasocial relationships, taking frequent breaks for a word from their sponsors.. it's fundamentally the same thing.
- spaetzleesser 4y agoIt may change but it won't get better. I don't see the currently 20 year olds better informed or more moderate. They just get manipulated by different media.
