- MBCook 4y agoSo far they haven’t. I think Ford, GM, VW, etc. have been on the end of enough accidents, recalls, and lawsuits to understand the dangers and consequences of what they’re doing and have their own safety standards even if all government standards went away overnight. So I don’t think it will happen for them. Tesla is not operating that way. I don’t see how they don’t end up at a reckoning. This probably isn’t it. But it seems like it’s coming.
