Is it possible to raise a series A before reaching product market fit ? I thought it's more like you raise a Series A to scale up ? Why would someone give you 20M dollars to just do research ? Never did this myself btw do maybe all these questions are tosh.

- foobiekr 4y agoThis is actually traditional venture for real technology. The only companies with customer before the series A are variations of websites and apps, a narrow slice of the tech sector.
- SpicyLemonZest 4y agoInteresting. I guess that makes a lot of sense now that you say it, it's gonna be hard to build anything physical without spending a lot first.
