- bitxbitxbitcoin 4y agoApparently none that can’t be overridden.
- mc4ndr3 4y agoAnother flight crashed when the entire crew ignored dire stall warnings for over 90 seconds. Multiple Boeings have crashed because of "protection" anti-stall systems. They thought complex software would be a safe workaround to a hardware design flaw. Humans are crap. Computers are crap. We try to improve both. I just wish we'd stop repeating the same mistakes over and over.
- nradov 4y agoIt depends on the aircraft. Some airliners do have automated systems that can help prevent a stall, or overspeed, or flight into terrain. But the pilot can always override those and intentionally crash.
- samstave 4y agoAutopilot prevents certain angles. This is why the flight path of MH370 was determined to be taken over manually... auto pilot disabled along with both transponders.
