Sorry, but no. Project Veritas doesn't just lack credibility, they have knowingly and intentionally been deceptive and malicious. They do not get the benefit of the doubt.
The group produces deceptively edited videos of its undercover operations, which use secret recordings in an effort to discredit mainstream media organizations and progressive groups. Project Veritas also uses entrapment to generate bad publicity for its targets, and has propagated disinformation and conspiracy theories in its videos and operations.

- rvz 4y agoHave you disproven the claims and the validity of the video or even the leaked Twitter all hands video by them which that is still circulating around the internet and even the same media outlets are also in directly referencing it? I have not seen a full refutation or disproving of those video(s) since their release and the claims made about Twitter being 'fake'. Sorry, but yes. I have heard from the other side and I could not hear anything because they were either still silent, did not report it or referenced the matter with very careful wording. Maybe it is because it was true, since there was no denial or debunking around the leaked all hands, or even this video.
- tmottabr 4y agothe problem is that the video does not prove the claims it makes to begin with.. it is just a bunch of random phrases out of context put in a way to convey the desired message from a source that lack any credibility.. so the video has no validity to begin with for us to disprove.. unless you have access to the source material and can give context to the stuff that was being discussed in those multiple conversations i see no reason we should trust or care about this video.. edit: fixing typos.
- slowhand09 4y agoThis commonly called the "Burden of Proof" fallacy. That you may have to dig deeper to find facts supporting or attacking a position doesn't invalidate the assertion.
- rvz 4y ago> it is just a bunch of random phrases out of context put in a way to convey the desired message from a source that lack any credibility.. Is that why Twitter hasn't responded to them? Hence no denial or refutation from them? Just like they did not respond to the leaked all hands video? > so the video has no validity to begin with for us to disprove.. If that is so, why hasn't it been debunked yet? Why hasn't Project Veritas retracted it immediately then if they're wrong? Either way, if Twitter / YouTube removes it they have something to hide and if they don't respond with a refutation, it makes the claims more believable. It gets worse the more they hesitate. > unless you have access to the source material and can give context to the stuff that was being discussed in those multiple conversations i see no reason we should trust or care about this video.. Perhaps you can ask them to post that video in full, since they were able to post the full leaked Twitter all hands video which lots of the same so-called 'trusted' media sources also cared to indirectly reference it as well in their own articles about the all hands meeting. So unless you have a full debunking of both this video's confessions and also the leaked Twitter all hands video that these media sources was referencing, then we can only conclude that this video as it stands is legitimate and still remains un-refuted and still not debunked by anyone.
- tmottabr 4y agodon't know what video you saw.. but the video linked here does not have any confessions, just a bunch of opinions from a nobody that we know nothing about that happen to work at twitter, edited by an organization without any credibility and know for using video to distort what people say.. everything laid out of context.. the video is total crap and not wort anyone to waste their time with.. so unless you have any reason on why people should give this video any credibility fill free to give to whoever comes looking for it.. i have already waste too much time on this crap, if you had anything to give this video credibility you would have provided already so i will assume there is nothing and move on..

- Vaslo 4y agoYes no bias in Wikipedia either lol.
- dekhn 4y agoIt's fairly widely concluded amongst free-thinking peoples that Veritas is not operating in good faith. They are a highly calculating group with a goal of changing public opinion through selectively interpretations. If you don't want to believe that, it's fine, but let's be frank here: it's fairly easy to understand who and what veritas is from the talks given by its founder.
