Ask HN: Do you talk to family and friends on the phone?
I feel like I'm talking to family and friends on the phone very rarely as we now have texting and social media to keep up. But I also do enjoy the times I get to have phone calls with people, but it's rare now .
Do you still talk on the phone with people? How do you decide when it's appropriate to call?

- leros 4y agoThat's true. Video calls and phone calls are the same thing in my mind. Taking explicit time out of your day to spend time talking to someone.

- WallyFunk 4y agoWhat if you've no Internet and Whatsapp etc is not an option? Then you have to use the old fashioned Phone App
