This is an article by a Koch supported organization. They are very blatant they want to remove all regulation and are behind climate misinformation. The real reason we have a problem is that Abbott was not maintaining their factory all the while doing stock buybacks.
The reason we have an FDA is because before that babies would get milk with worms in it and die. There is no free market solution to a dead baby. You can’t just say “whoops, I guess I will buy a different brand next baby.”
- deepsquirrelnet 4y agoI’m in agreement with you. Let’s not ignore that it was also negligence that caused this. Read the whistleblower’s accounts of all the blatant health and quality violations in the factory that had been going on for years.
