- chii 4y ago10 years ago, no one would predict that the cost of solar would drop by 80%-90%. There's still a lot of untapped potential in other forms of renewables too. The current bottleneck of batteries might be solved, i'm sure, in the near future. There's a lot of pessimism among the media. I, for one, am hopeful.
