I read the book and can't remember anything about it except the first chapter where James describes an accident he was in. Tiny Habits, from the man who created Behavioural Science, is much more concrete, doable and memorable: https://tinyhabits.com/ https://tinyhabits.com/
- feanaro 4y agoWhat exactly do you mean by "behavioural science" when you say that BJ Fogg created it? Behaviorism existed for some fifty years before he was even born (if we consider it started with John B. Watson).
- johnchristopher 4y agoMost likely refer to https://behaviordesign.stanford.edu/ https://behaviordesign.stanford.edu/
- cooltraction 4y agoI wonder what graduate course they teach this in.
- solarkraft 4y agoThe capitalization gives away that it's likely also a book.
- sheinsheish 4y agoOr the great free resource https://zenhabits.net/ https://zenhabits.net/
- triyambakam 4y agoI wouldn't say that's an analogous resource. Zen to Done is a simplified version of Getting Things Done, while Atomic Habits and the work of BJ Fogg is more about broad behavioral changes, through which a notetaking system could be implemented, or not.
- rjh29 4y agoMaybe my memory sucks but reading a book and relying on your brain to magically remember and recall it seems suboptimal to me. I read Atomic Habits and, while reading, wrote 150 lines of a .txt file summarising the best parts. I still find it useful today.
- zizee 4y agoCare to share your txt file?
- rjh29 4y agoI marked it up here: https://richardjharris.github.io/summary-of-atomic-habits-by-james-clear/ https://richardjharris.github.io/summary-of-atomic-habits-by...
- takyon12 4y agoSame question as the user above me - would you mind sharing the file? Thanks!
