This is really cool. I’ve been wanting to build my own lab, but I’m a bit worried about power consumption. If I do build something, then it would probably be something I power up and down as required.
That said, are there “Cloud” versions of this? Can I get my feet wet that way?

Initially I wasn’t worried, but in some arguments some people have warned me that even a single rack can incur significant monthly bill increases. I have a lot of retro hard too which I imagine is less power efficient.
- Aeolun 4y agoYou can have a homelab with just one or a few raspberry pi’s. Power consumption would be negligible.
