Tell HN: I haven’t been to a search engine website in almost a year
I used to use DuckDuckGo.com but then switched exclusively to the CLI https://github.com/jarun/ddgr. I've been happier and more productive since.

- brutal_chaos_ 4y agoYou still "went to" a search engine within the last year, just using a non-visual document rendering user agent. DDG logs (if there are any) would still show you were there, just not with a typical browser.
- stevage 4y agoIt's semantic nitpicking, but I support the OP's characterisation. If they're not using a browser to visit a web page, I wouldn't say they "went to" the page.
