Sounds to me personally like all this talk of “AI and research” and foundations for all the “good” things are really a smoke screen for 5G investment and monopoly protection through political influence. At the same time this isn’t this always a component of power? Political parties usually pursue financial support from companies in return for favorable conditions behind the scenes. Good that someone is blowing the whistle at least.
