That makes no sense to me. Elon is already the richest man in the world. What would be the need for a few extra billion dollars, at the cost of endless lawsuits?
My intuition is that his plan is genuine. He is buying Twitter’s audience, not Twitter’s product.
- White_Wolf 5y agoI'm not sure what standing anyone at T would have to sue him after a move made to counter him buying it... after he made a public offer like that. It would make perfect sense to just sell and go for plan B (buy through multiple people/off-shores or something).
