How about you lose any retweets or references to a tweet if an edit is made.
- incomingpain 5y ago>How about you lose any retweets or references to a tweet if an edit is made. Not a bad idea. Another alternative, you get say 5 minutes to edit then it locks.
- KoftaBob 5y agoNot a bad idea, or make it so a tweet isn't quotable/retweetable until the 5 minute edit grace period ends.
- GrinningFool 5y agoI don't think that'd work - a lot of what drives twitter traffic is the immediacy of the timeline. If you see a tweet and can't react to it, chances are you'll never see it again.
- fhrow4484 5y ago> How about you lose any retweets or references to a tweet if an edit is made Then it's not different from status quo of deleting the tweet and rewriting it, is it?
- francisofascii 5y agoWell, you don't have to rewrite it. You can edit it, and save.
