The blogger here is 100% positive that the black case material was precisely the same cost as the white material? What Apple engineer gave them this information?
- Raineer 5y agoStephen Hackett worked at Apple. And the cost of the material has nothing to do with the argument. I don't know why you'd imply that it "costs precisely the same", as no two materials would ever be exactly the same. But you don't adjust your pricing 39 cents either direction - you decide on a price based on what people will pay.
