I went few times to the Kennedy Center, and as a 35-year-old software engineer, I was not a token spectator. They were people of all walks of life watching Ballet, Opera, and Symphonic Orchestra. And you can watch Music Hall for $50 or Operas/Ballets for $100. This are not crazy prices compared to a normal concert/stadium seat.
