I spoke to Google on the phone and via chat, they said there is nothing they can do, except walk me through the restore process, which is impossible, as the hacker has the restore email and number. Google says only the account holder can make changes, yet I can't and someone else can. They have hung me out to dry!!!
- cowvin 5y agoHonestly, your first problem you need to solve is getting back home. Google has no way to distinguish between an overseas hacker trying to get into your account vs your current situation. You currently have no way to prove your ownership. So what I would suggest is to focus on getting home. If you have to borrow money from family or friends or whatever, that's what you do.
