The author coined the term, “security theater.” He argues here that the cards are easy to forge on purpose because they’re also easy to use which is exactly the factor you want to optimize for in a public health crisis.
- raxxorrax 5y agoI wouldn't mind people forging their passes anyway. They obviously don't want the vaccine and currently it probably would be even a bad idea to take it. The protection wanes off until autumn. You could take a vaccine booster, turbo or afterburner if you want to, but it just isn't a solution really. We need to hope that the reaction is better than to terrorism. You already hear voices that have problems with not wearing masks anymore. I think a bit of headwind would be good for their development.
