Rockbox – free replacement firmware for digital music players
- tony-allan 5y agoI wish there was something like this available for old iPhones!
- pc2g4d 5y agoRockbox and a Sansa Fuze were all I needed for a long time. Great project.
- partomniscient 5y agoIndeed. Thanks to the project creators and maintainers. I still use the one remaining working Sansa Clip+ I have. I know smartphones have mostly filled this space now, but I personally hate touchscreen interfaces. I could operate the clip+ without having to look at it. I also don't care about glossy colour screens, its a listening device. Haven't found any suitable upgrades, and newer equivalents from Sandisk are mostly steps backwards aside from storage size increases.

- LanternLight83 5y agoI still miss the playlist-oriented interface from flashing this to my mother's old player growing up
