Sounds like you’re pro censorship and want more government control of the free market.
- SantiagoElf 5y agoNope ... I am for free speech, not for a bunch leftist technocrats deciding whom can speak on twitter, facebook, etc. :) But is a pointless discussion - USA is heading to the dumpster of history or to a civil war so fast that nothing can be done.

- dragonwriter 5y ago> I am for free speech, not for a bunch leftist technocrats deciding whom can speak on twitter, facebook, etc You are for free speech, but against the exercise of free speech rights by private parties in deciding what speech to relay with their resources, which is the basis of the marketplace of ideas?
- hackinthebochs 5y agoThis take doesn't have the same bite when a handful of private companies have become the de-facto "commons". It doesn't matter who is doing the censoring when your speech has zero reach because you've been deplatformed by the modern equivalent of the town square. It is not a sufficient response to this problem to simply point to the rights of private companies to do what they want.
