I’ve tried to move to tailwind, and I don’t hate it, but I’ve concluded that inline styles are effectively the same and we should just skip tailwind in favour of inline. I’m sure there’s something wrong with this thinking, but I’m not sure what?
- apineda 5y agoI think of tailwind as a DSL on top of css. It's got convenient shorthand and sane defaults where as css does not. Where it fails is the coupling between tailwind and whatever it is you are designing.
- hsbauauvhabzb 5y agoCan you elaborate on that last statement?
- mekster 5y agoHow can you not tell inline cannot use media queries? It's hard to think how people think classes are same as inlines when responsive designs are the norm. Not to mention pure css are way longer to type.
