- mytailorisrich 5y agoClearly there's a bit more than that... License problems often appear at convenient times. I am not "defending" RT but political games are played in all countries.
- yorwba 5y ago> Clearly there's a bit more than that... License problems often appear at convenient times. Clearly not in this case: "The broadcaster was blocked from Europe’s satellite network on December 22 at the request of German authorities, less than a week after going on air"
- mytailorisrich 5y agoAt the request of German authorities... Come on, nothing is black and white. A big problem I've noticed is not that people assume that Russian, Chinese, etc news are propaganda and that these governments cannot be trusted, it's that they assume that Western news and governments are beyond reproach and don't play the same games. "The Greatest Trick the Devil Ever Pulled Was Convincing the World He Didn’t Exist"
- raxxorrax 5y agoIt is a weird mix of sad and funny to see society making the same mistakes over and over again... If they at least would stand for their decisions.
- raxxorrax 5y agoGermany isn't really a good example on anything that requires plurality. Currently society exposes primitive peer pressure and fear and that is reflected in decisions like this. This is clearly a pretext too.
