Where I live, the signs will state either a time of enforcement of school zones or "When Children Present". Generally, elementary schools will have school zones active during all hours that kids are on site. Middle Schools and high schools tend to be "When Children Present".
- seanmcdirmid 5y agoI believe signaling has a lot to do with the law in my state, since I'm living in a big city, the signaling is always present. And like I said before, the normal speed limit is 25MPH, so its not like normal traffic is too fast, it just goes down to 15MPH during school in and school out time (there aren't kids hanging around outside the schools otherwise, it is an urban environment).
