I think it depends on figuring out why "transaction" (or maybe, more generalized, "interaction") is a meaningful programming primitive. Otherwise, the most web3 could ever achieve is pay-to-play oauth alternative. I can vaguely imagine opportunities in some fields, but not on the current generation of tooling. Crypto has basically evolved into a self-funded research institute, most of whose fruits are worthless to most of humanity, at least in the short term.
