It does now, a minute later.
- thaumasiotes 5y agoQuote it for me.
- taspeotis 5y ago> The practice is used widely across Europe and encourages people to open vehicle doors with their opposite hand to avoid injuries to passing cyclists.
- thaumasiotes 5y agoOK. What does the practice actually consist of? Does it require anything? If I'm taken to court, is "I thought about using my left hand, but I decided not to" a defense?

- ivanbakel 5y agoThe explanation is under the header of "What is the 'Dutch reach'?". It includes the sentence "It encourages people to use their opposite hand to open a vehicle door, forcing them to turn their body and head when getting out".
- flawi 5y ago> The practice is used widely across Europe and encourages people to open vehicle doors with their opposite hand to avoid injuries to passing cyclists. Literally first paragraph.
