I've had children vaccinated (years ago at this point) who immediately displayed symptoms of an adverse reaction. Pointed them out to the nurse who administered the vaccine and was ignored. This kind of behavior has been observed at multiple medical facilities with many nurses over many years of seeking medical care for my children.
"It's impossible that it was the vaccine, must have been something else". Nevermind that his parents know very well what is normal and abnormal for him.
You can't get better data than your front line medical professionals are willing to collect. If there is chronic under reporting then risk factors cannot be properly evaluated and all published conclusions are suspect.
My case is just another anecdote but it is one that causes me to distrust the whole system for determining the actual risks of vaccines, that it is broken and unreliable.
Vaccines are safe therefore your negative reaction was due to something else. Hey look, no bad reactions therefore vaccines are safe. With the current levels of pride demonstrated by the medical industry and it's supporters there is no way to penetrate this cycle no matter how compelling the evidence.
- dekhn 5y agoI mean my anecdote is the same as yours: I got flu/pneumo (not covid) and lost total control of my arm and felt deeply sick for an entire week. I told the doctor and she was just happy I got the vax. If your response to that is to distrust the whole system, I hope you don't break an arm or get cancer.
