Do you need to refresh your ID.me registration every year, or is it permanent?
I file taxes every year, but I file through my tax software or tax preparer, so I don't think I'd even need an IRS.com account.
- Supermancho 5y agoYou do not need an IRS.com account. That's what makes it look like a not-so-innocuous data collection system. This is a possible first step to tighten identity tracking, slow boiling the frog, so to speak.
