The National Aviary in Pittsburgh actually lost one of these over the summer. It escaped its enclosure and was flying around the city for about a week.
- divbzero 5y agoFor a moment I wondered if this could be the same eagle as the one spotted in Quebec, Nova Scotia, Massachusetts, and Maine. But no it looks like the Pittsburgh eagle only escaped late in the summer and returned home after about a week’s journey around western Pennsylvania [1].
