By "challenges dark matter theories" do you mean "challenges the theory that there is dark matter" or "challenges theories of how dark matter originated and is distributed"?
- marcosdumay 5y agoWell, those come together, don't they. Postulating dark matter without any coherent behavior is easy, but useless. It has to behave like something.
- 8note 5y agoA useful prediction for dark matter theories is that there can exist galaxies that don't have much dark matter. It doesn't have to behave like visible matter to behave in a specified manner. It's defined by interacting with gravity and not electromagnetism.
