'Backups' ain't backups if you don't have a reliable 'Restore' process.
- ctoth 5y agoI mean we could use the untested backup system or we could backup to /dev/null. Also we ship tomorrow. Your call boss!
- nradov 5y agoIt has been tested. So far all the tests have failed. Let me know when they can cryonically freeze a live mouse, then reanimate it a month later. If the process works at all then that should be easy, right?
- xvector 5y agoUntested backups are better than no backups at all. Realistically, I would rather I at least have some chance of success, however small, than none whatsoever. Ah, this is a reminder that I need to finish my application to Alcor.
